Ashley was born on the coast of San Clemente California on the 10th of February, 1987. Ashley first began surfing in the age of 5 prior to when she relocated to Hawaii. In the midst of her 6th birthday she took home a prize in a surf contest using a run-down board found inside a garbage can in front of her home. She began her surfing career at 5 years of age and had won her first surf contest by age 6. At age 7 she was able to secure a sponsor. Her birthplace was in San Clemente California but later made the move to Hawaii. Abraham was a well-known model. They started dating in 2016. Prior to moving to Hawaii she started surfing at the age of five old. When she was just six, she was crowned the winner of a surfing contest with a broken board she found in a trash container outside her home. Ashley participated in NSSA National Championships at the age of sixteen. In 2003, she received the Triple Crown Award for Rookie of the Year. She was also a winner of two National Scholastic Surfing Association titles as well as the Professional Surfing Tour of America. Ashley won in 2010 the Pipeline Women's Pro at Hawaii.
